There are many types of visa's to enter India from other countries. But there are some countries which dont require visa to enter India.
First I'll be mentioning some major countries which requires visa:
1》USA: All U.S. citizens need a valid passport and valid Indian visa to enter and exit India for any purpose. ... Many visitors, including those on official U.S. government business, must apply for visas at an Indian embassy or consulate abroad before entering the country.
2》CANADA: Canadians must obtain a visa for India prior to arrival or will be refused entry into the country. ... Canadians can obtain an e-Tourist Visa for tourist visits not exceeding 60 days, if they are entering through one of the designated international airports or seaports.
3》RUSSIA: Russian citizens who want to visit India for tourism and who do not wish to stay in India for not more than 60 days can apply for E-Tourist visa.
